Muhammad & his Predictions:-

Prophecy is the ability to foretell future events.

While Moses and the prophets of the Bible actually predicted future happenings and events, the alleged 'prophet' Muhammad was not able to make a single true or correct prediction of value or importance. Aisha, his beloved wife and the 'mother of the believers' asserts this.

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 4.401        Narrated byAuf bin Mali
I went to the Prophet during the Ghazwa of Tabuk while he was sitting in a leather tent. He said, "Count six signs that indicate the approach of the Hour: my death, the conquest of Jerusalem, a plague that will afflict you (and kill you in great numbers) as the plague that afflicts sheep, the increase of wealth to such an extent that even if one is given one hundred Dinars, he will not be satisfied; then an affliction which no Arab house will escape, and then a truce between you and Bani Al-Asfar (i.e. the Byzantines) who will betray you and attack you under eighty flags. Under each flag will be twelve thousand soldiers.

*** Muhammad expected the End of Days to be imminent. All the items listed in the Hadith above FAILED to bring about his PREDICTIONS ***

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 6.378        Narrated byMasruq
I said to 'Aisha, "O Mother! Did Prophet Muhammad see his Lord?" 'Aisha said, "What you have said makes my hair stand on end ! Know that if somebody tells you one of the following three things, he is a liar: Whoever tells you that Muhammad saw his Lord, is a liar." Then Aisha recited the Verse:

"No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision. He is the Most Courteous Well-Acquainted with all things."   (6.103) "It is not fitting for a human being that Allah should speak to him except by inspiration or from behind a veil."  (42.51)  'Aisha further said, "And whoever tells you that the Prophet knows what is going to happen tomorrow, is a liar." She then recited:

"No soul can know what it will earn tomorrow."  (31.34) She added: "And whoever tells you that he concealed (some of Allah's orders), is a liar." Then she recited: "O Apostle! Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord..." (5.67) 'Aisha added, "But the Prophet saw Gabriel in his true form twice."

*** "No soul can know what it will earn tomorrow."  means that no one can FORETELL FUTURE EVENTS.

Her report that Muhammad saw Gabriel in true form twice is not based on fact since she never saw the 'angel' and this figure contradicts Muhammad's alleged numerous other meetings with Gabriel - as mentioned in the Ahadith - who recited the verses of the Quran with him every year during Ramadan***

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 8.686        Narrated byZahdam bin Mudarrab  & 5.2/3
'Imran bin Hussain said, "The Prophet said, 'The best of you (people) are my generation, and the second best will be those who will follow them, and then those who will follow the second generation." Imran added, "I do not remember whether he mentioned two or three (generations) after his generation." He added, "Then will come some people who will make vows but will not fulfill them; and they will be dishonest and will not be trustworthy, and they will give their witness without being asked to give their witness, and fatness will appear among them."

Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 6154        Narrated byAbuHurayrah
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: The best age of my Ummah is one in which I was sent (by Allah as an Apostle), then the one next to that. (The narrator said): And Allah knows best whether he stated this third (time) or not. Then there would come people who would love (to look) bulky and they would hasten to the witness box before they are asked to bear witness.

*** Muhammad realised very early on that his 'followers', in a very short period of time, will transgress and not be faithful to his teachings or the Quran***

Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 4579        Narrated byAbuHurayrah
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The Jews were split up into seventy-one or seventy-two sects; and the Christians were split up into seventy one or seventy-two sects; and my community will be split up into seventy-three sects.

Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 277        Narrated byZiyad ibn Labid
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) spoke of something and said: It will happen when knowledge will be no more. I said: Allah's Messenger, how will knowledge vanish despite the fact that we will be reciting the Qur'an and teaching its recitation to our children and our children will teach its recitation to their children up to the Day of Resurrection? Thereupon he said: Ziyad, may your mother weep over you. I was of the opinion that you were one of those who have greatest understanding of religion in Medina. Do these Jews and Christians not recite the Torah and the Bible but not act according to what is contained in them?

Tabari 1:181 " The Prophet said 'I was sent immediately before the coming of the Day of Doom. I preceded it like this one preceding that one' -referring to his index and middle finger" 182 "he said 'Allah will not make this nation [of Islam] incapable of lasting half a day - a day being a thousand years - …Consequently, based upon the Prophet's authority,, what remained of time was half a day that had elapsed to the Prophet's statement corresponds to 6500 years"

*** Based on Muhammad's prophecy, Dooms Day should have occurred 500 years after this 'revelation' which occured about 610 AD.

Well, as we all know, the year 1110 had passed and we are in the year 2007 AD without the prophecy of the infallible 'Prophet' having come true.

Muhammad's alleged prophesies could be counted on one hand none of which ever came true ***
